For many years, Mrs. Geggie served on the Municipality of La Peche's Heritage Committee with emphasis on the built history of the region. She has been honoured with a life-membership in the Gatineau Valley Historical Society, where she is a volunteer in the Archives and has served on its board for several terms. My family came to Canada and settled in Wakefield in 1954 from Germany. My parents always had good thoughts and respect for Dr. Geggie and you. Many more healthy years! My father had been sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Sully and we always kept up our friendship over the years and visited them often.
